|

as a large family. If you come to visit us it
will be this family atmosphere which comes across
most strongly. We do care and it shows at every
level. |

| Friendly Atmosphere |
|
| |
|
Our philosophy is to provide
a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where each Resident
has the freedom to spend their day as they wish.
Our Care Staff are trained to cater for all
the elderly frailties in a sympathetic and patient
way. We recognise and understand that the elderly
have their own special likes and dislikes and
we aim to meet all these every day. |

Moving
home is always a disturbing time especially
for the elderly, and we take especial care
for that reason.
We find that new Residents normally settle
in to life at The Priory within the first
few weeks but during this settling-in period
they are entirely free to reconsider whether
they wish to continue, without any further
obligation or commitment. |

At The Priory we pay particular attention to our Residents’ health by maintaining close contact with the local Coleridge Medical Centre, the District Nurses, the chiropodist and other visiting health professionals.
In addition, we give great emphasis to good fresh food sourced from our local butchers and vegetable suppliers. All meals are prepared daily in our own kitchens – we avoid any pre-prepared meals of any kind. Additives not only affect children but can affect the elderly – so our policy is avoidance!
